Is Shahar Mein (In This City)

Bangalore, A city where I lived most of my career life of India. Once a city of Temples and Gardens, now seems like a city of Liquor Bars all over. Feeling of being close to God and Nature always gave me my best highs about myself, where as looking at small roadside Bars and seeing daily workers spending most of their wages on liquors before even going their homes used to make me think if now Sins and Sinners are respected more than the God and Humanity

Munh  mod ke chale   wo khuda se us taraf ko

Ki saaki bahut mile   unki wo rah guzar mein

Bhagwan se bhi jyada   yahan saaki puj rahae hein

Mandir se bhi jyada   maikhane is shahar mein

Tanha Ghar (Lonely Home)

Loneliness and endless wait to meet lover could be a very painful experience.

Is dar pe ab kahan kisi ki inaayat hogi

Aaj lagta hae unke ghar bhi barsat hogi

Geela Chand (Wet Moon)

It is not who is strong, but who is determined is who succeeds and when you have two equally determined fighters you get a splendid endless show of their strengths. Sun and Moon are two such fighters- full of strength, splendor and determination. Moon may be faded away every morning by bright Sun, but it comes back again with full determination every night to spread its luster all over the horizon.

Subah tak oas banke, patton pe bichh gaya tha jo
Naha ke chand wo dariya se bahar nikla tha
Suraj ne sukha diya beraham ho kar
Himmat karke, wo fir aaj wahin se nikla tha

Hum Hi Rah Gaye Hein (Only I Am Left To Wait)

In a busy road lived an old man spending all his time staring at the corner of the road to see someone who he could recognize, someone who will walk into this road to meet and not just pass by.

Apni hi gali mein ajnabi ho gaye
Bhid bahut hae naye chehron ki magar
Jinse thi raunak wo sathi chale gaye
Aashiyan na uthaya humne apna
Ki yadon ko sanjone hum hi to rah gaye
